Malloy Events seeks a highly self-motivated production manager to oversee warehouse logistics, installation crews, as well as maintenance of A/V/L rental items. Candidates will also execute event installations. Candidates should be proactive and positive, with an appreciation for details, and a proven ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment. This position has room for growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and manage crews for off-site jobs and staff for warehouse

• Manage pre-production and post-production of events

• Train crew as a team and maintain a high level of morale

• Basic knowledge of A/V/L repair

• Maintain and organize warehouse

• Communicate and foster relationships with high-end clientele

• Properly and safely operate hand tools

• Work weekends during peak spring/summer/fall months

• Assist with implementing new systems to streamline jobs, cut costs and create efficiency

• Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced/high energy environment

• Experience managing staff

• Ability to work in ever-changing situations and use common sense when analyzing and completing each job

• Experience driving a truck with a trailer

• Valid driver's license and a clean DMV record

• Ability to push 100 lbs and lift 50-75 lbs.

• Special Event experience and/or event lighting

• Woodworking experience plus

• Working knowledge of special events through all phases of production
