Inn by the Sea had the pleasure of partnering with Malloy Events recently to customize a wedding design specifically for the Inn. Chris and Kate Malloy created beautiful packages for our luxury property here in Cape Elizabeth, Maine that our couples are incredibly excited about! We were lucky enough to have Malloy Events come to the Inn and setup their designs for a photo shoot and it was an amazing few days of gorgeous flowers, table designs and even a setup of our After Party room. We are looking forward to partnering with Malloy Events in the upcoming season and are positive our couples are going to be thrilled with these designs and the professionalism of Malloy Events.

The following packages offer a starting point for your wedding flowers and overall event design. Each item can be altered and added to to make it your own. Adding greenery will give a more romantic and organic look, where adding roping or shells will give a more nautical look. Each proposal is unique and these levels give you a starting place to help you budget and also get an idea of the flowers you will need for your wedding.

There are three levels to choose from when customizing your design: shoreline, cove, and ocean. Each level will have a difference in floral design scale, rentals, and upgraded accessories such as charger plates, chair treatments and napkin treatments.

These three packages are just starting points for your wedding. At any time you can completely customize your wedding to suit your vision and budget. You can also take elements from one level and add to another to make the design your own.

After your guests enjoy the sun setting over the ocean they will make their way to the Crescent Room or Beach Suites to dance the night away. Taking your color palate and vision to the next level, we create a true lounge space complete with furniture, cocktail tables, a custom bar with barstools, and lighting throughout the room, all in your color palate.

Level One: Shoreline
Ceremony flowers: Two simple urns will be placed on either side of the altar area and will be filled with white or variegated blue hydrangea and accented with mini green hydrangea and or bear grass or curly willow branches. These urns will be reused at the entrance of the reception tent.
Reception Centerpieces: 5” round or square vase that will have a 1.5” ribbon of your color choice wrapped around the base or middle of the container. White, green or variegated blue hydrangea will fill each vase and will be accented by one focal flower.
Tent lighting: white cased LEDs will be clamped at the ceiling base throughout the tent to uplight the ceiling in your desired color. All LEDs will be dimmable to enjoy throughout the event.

Level two: Cove
Ceremony flowers: Two simple urns will be placed on either side of the altar area and will be filled with white or variegated blue hydrangea and accented with mini green hydrangea. An additional focal flower and greenery will be added to enhance the overall shape and or bear grass or curly willow branches will complete the design. These urns will be reused at the entrance of the reception tent.
Reception Centerpieces: 5” round or square vase will have a 1.5” ribbon of your color choice wrapped around the base or middle of the container. White, green or variegated blue hydrangea will fill each vase and will be accented by two varieties of focal flowers such as roses, football mums, calla lilies, dahlias, peonies.
Tent lighting: white wired LED cafe lights will be strung throughout the ceiling of the tent to create a canopy of light. The cafe lights can have paper lanterns of varying sizes, shapes, and colors added to them for an additional fee. All lights can be dimmed to be enjoyed throughout the event.
After party space: The Crescent Room will be transformed into your after party lounge, complete with two clusters of furniture, LED wall uplighting, and flowers for each of the cocktail tables and lounge furniture side tables. Accent colors to match your event and details to add to your overall vision, this space will let you bring your guests inside when the sun sets to dance the night away.

Level three: Ocean
Ceremony flowers:
Two large 24” tall urns will be placed on either side of the altar area and will be filled with white or variegated blue hydrangea and accented with mini green hydrangea. An additional focal flower and greenery will be added to enhance the overall shape along with two accent flowers. Bear grass or curly willow branches will complete the design. These urns will be reused at the entrance of the reception tent.
Ceremony Arbor: A simple arbor will be erected in two large urns and will be covered with greenery and accented at the top left and top right corners with a cluster of flowers. The urns will be filled with hydrangea or greenery and the arbor corners will have ribbons or roping detail for additional texture and pops of color.
Reception centerpieces: A 4” wide by 24” tall round or square glass vase will be filled white or blue hydrangea and will be studded with mini green hydrangea and one focal flower. Branches or grasses will sprout from the top of each arrangement.
Tent lighting: Five oversized chandeliers will be placed down the center of the tent and will hold cafe lights, edison bulbs, paper lanterns or other lighting elements. The chandelier can be simple and sleek, wrapped in the fabric of your choice, or they can be rustic and romantic, covered in falling greenery and fresh flowers. Each chandelier can be customized and the final price will depend on the design.
After party space: The Crescent Room will be transformed into your after party lounge, complete with four clusters of furniture, LED wall uplighting, custom patterns and textures projected on the walls and ceiling, a wooden bar for your guests to sit and enjoy a cocktail at, and flowers for each of the cocktail tables and lounge furniture side tables. Accent colors to match your event and details to add to your overall vision, this space will let you bring your guests inside when the sun sets to dance the night away.
